Watchmen, la serie de HBO, se alzó con la mayor cantidad de nominaciones para la 72ª edición de los Premios Emmy, con un total de 26.
El anuncio se hizo a través de una ceremonia virtual por la comediante y actriz Leslie Jones y por los actores Laverne Cox, Tatiana Maslany y Josh Grad.
Entre las más nominadas vuelven a aparecer The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel con 20, mientras que sorprendió Ozark con 18, mismo número que Succession, mientras que The Mandalorian obtuvo 15.
Contrario a lo que ocurrió el año pasado, Netflix se impuso sobre HBO y este año suma 160 nominaciones, en comparación con las 107 que obtuvo el canal por cable.
La ceremonia de los 72° Emmy se realizará el próximo 20 de septiembre, con la conducción de Jimmy Kimmel. De todos modos se sospecha que se tratará de una ceremonia virtual, teniendo en cuenta que Estados Unidos atraviesa una dura situación con la pandemia de coronavirus.
