El thriller paródico ¡Huye! de Jordan Peele logró la mayor cantidad de nominaciones, cuatro, a los Premios Gotham que entrega el Independent Filmmaker Project: es candidato a mejor film, dirección, guión y actor, para Daniel Kaluuya.
La película de Peele peleará en los premios principales con Call me by your name de Luca Guadagnino, The Florida project de Sean Baker, Good time de Josh y Benny Safdie y I, Tonya de Craig Gillespie.
Durante la ceremonia, además de las estatuillas principales, los Gotham harán reconocimientos a las carreras de Nicole Kidman, Dustin Hoffman, Sofia Coppola, Jason Blum, el fotógrafo Ed Lachman y el ex vicepresidente Al Gore.
Los premios Gotham se entregarán el próximo 27 de noviembre en una ceremonia que será conducida por el director John Cameron Mitchell.
