Films de Joe Wright, Angelina Jolie, Guillermo del Toro, Darren Aronofsky, George Clooney y Alexander Payne se exhibirán en el Festival de Toronto, rumbo a lo que promete ser una poblada temporada de premios.
Jolie presentará First they killed my father, un drama sobre el genocidio camboyano que hizo para Netflix; Aronofsky llevará mother!, un film de horror con Jennifer Lawrence; Clooney ofrecerá Suburbicon, que cuenta con guión de los Hermanos Coen; del Toro exhibirá The shape of water; y Payne presentará Downsizing, con Matt Damon en el protagónico.
Sin embargo, ninguno de esos films tendrá presentaciones de gala. Los que sí que las tendrán serán Las horas más oscuras, de Wright y con Gary Oldman como Winston Churchill; Breathe, de Andy Serkis y con Andrew Garfield; Kings, con Daniel Craig; Más allá de la montaña, con Idris Elba y Kate Winslet; y Stronger, con Jake Gyllenhaal; entre otros.
