La La Land, la película de Damien Chazelle que viene siendo sensación en la temporada de premios, se instala también como la favorita de cara a la 74ª edición de los Globos de Oro, que esta mañana dieron a conocer sus nominaciones y posicionaron al film en siete rubros.
El film participará en el rubro mejor comedia o musical, donde competirá contra 20th Century Women, Deadpool, Florence y Sing Street. También tuvo nominaciones en dirección, actor, actriz, guión, música y canción original.
Por su parte, en el rubro drama aparecen Hasta el último hombre, Hell or High Water, Lion, Manchester by the Sea y Moonlight. Sorprendió en la presencia de la película Mel Gibson, que también ostenta nominaciones para el director y para Andrew Garfield.
Por otro lado, hay que señalar que tanto Moonlight como Manchester by the sea parecen convertirse en las principales contendientes de La La Land en la temporada de premios.
En el apartado de película extranjera hay que mencionar que Neruda, de Pablo Larraín, competirá junto a Divines, la polémica Elle, The Salesman y la celebrada Tony Erdmann.
En cuanto al apartado televisivo, entre las miniseries y telefilms figuran en una competencia muy fuerte American Crime, The Dresser, The Night Manager, The Night Of y The People vs. OJ Simpson.
Mientras tanto entre las comedias pelearán Atlanta, Blackish, Mozart in the Jungle, Transparent y Veep; a su vez que entre los dramas la disputa será entre The Crown, Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, This Is Us y Westworld.
La lectura de las nominaciones estuvo a cargo de Don Cheadle, Laura Dern y Anna Kendrick. Los premios que entrega la Asociación de Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood se darán el 8 de enero del año próximo en una ceremonia conducida por Jimmy Fallon.
Además, durante la ceremonia Meryl Streep recibirá el premio Cecil B. DeMille.
