Fueron anunciadas las nominaciones a los Emmy, con True detective y Breaking bad perfilándose como los favoritos en la categoría de drama, mientras que Fargo y The normal heart aparecen como los contendientes principales en la categoría de película y/o miniserie. En tanto, en la parte de comedia están los viejos conocidos de siempre, como The big bang theory y Modern family, aunque son de destacar las chances con las que aparece la debutante Orange is the new black.
Los Emmy se entregarán el lunes 25 de agosto, en una ceremonia conducida por Seth Meyers.
